With the client having already shelled out on various unsuccessful repairs it was time
to undertake a complete re roof and to combat the cold bedrooms we installed
Super-Quilt. Super-Quilt is the UK’s leading multi-foil insulation, it’s vapour resistant
and 36% cheaper than Kingspan making it the obvious choice.
As standard in all complete re-roofing jobs, we replaced all lead flashings and tiled
the roof using a Marley Modern Smooth Brown concrete tile. Dry fixing systems
were used for the ridge and hip tiles meaning this roof will stand up to the harsh
Scottish winters for years to come.
The client now has a 20 year insurance backed guarantee meaning no more nasty
repair bills.
