Monklands Womens Aid
This Christmas, we were proud to support Monklands Women’s Aid in Airdrie by donating 30 bags filled with essentials and festive treats. Monklands Women’s Aid provides vital support to women and children who are victims of domestic abuse, offering them a safe space and the help they need to rebuild their lives. By contributing to their efforts, we aim to bring a little joy and relief to families during a challenging time of year. The volunteers at Monklands women’s aid are nothing short of essential, kind hearted and generally amazing people. They provide specialist responsive domestic abuse services to women, children and young people who have been impacted by domestic abuse, who are at risk of experiencing domestic abuse or who are seeking to escape.
Their core hours are 9 a.m. – 4 p.m. Monday to Thursday, 9 a.m. – 1.30 p.m. Friday. Out with these hours you can contact the Scotland Domestic Abuse and Forced Marriages helpline on 0800 027 1234.
