Our Solution

To ensure safety and efficiency, we first provided scaffolding for secure working access and arranged skip hire for waste removal. We safely stripped and removed the existing tile covering, battens, felt, flat roof materials, and lowered the chimney below roof level, capping it for safety. All timber sarking was inspected, with any rotten boards replaced to create a solid foundation. A Marley breathable membrane and eaves trays were installed for optimal ventilation and water protection, alongside new treated timber counter battens and tile battens for structural support. The flat roof was completely renewed, with an 18mm timber deck installed and finished with a durable rubber EPDM roof covering and lead flashing to ensure long-lasting waterproofing. At valley junctions, new GRP troughs with lead soakers were installed to prevent water ingress. We installed new PVC deep flow guttering around the property, including the flat roof, ensuring effective drainage. The main roof was re-tiled with Marley tiles chosen by the client, and mechanically fixed hip and ridge tiles were fitted to complete a neat, secure finish. All materials and workmanship were delivered to the highest standard, with a full 20-year warranty covering the entire project.
