Our Solution

To ensure safe working conditions, we installed full scaffolding around the property and arranged skip hire for the safe and efficient removal of all waste materials. Pitched Roof Works We carefully stripped and removed the existing tiles, battens, felt, and roof boarding. Once exposed, the structure was prepared for a full rebuild. A new 9mm Sterling board timber deck was installed to create a solid, structurally sound base. Over this, we fitted a high-performance Marley breathable membrane along with eaves support trays to improve ventilation and prevent membrane sagging. Treated timber counter battens and tile battens were installed to strengthen the structure and ensure correct airflow beneath the tiles. The roof was then finished with Marley tiles selected by the client, providing a durable, attractive finish designed to withstand the elements. To complete the pitched roof, we installed a modern uPVC dry verge system and a mechanically fixed dry ridge system. These systems remove the need for traditional mortar, offering superior wind resistance, reduced maintenance, and long-term reliability. Dormer Flat Roof Replacement The existing flat roof covering was safely stripped and removed. We then installed a new 18mm Sterling board timber deck to provide a strong foundation for the new waterproofing system. A high-performance rubber EPDM membrane was professionally bonded to the timber deck, creating a seamless and highly durable waterproof barrier. Perimeter trims and corner brackets were installed to provide a clean, secure finish and protect vulnerable edge details from water ingress.
